Adelaide Winery Hosts Native Blooms Workshop This August

This August, Adelaide’s Patritti Winery will host a hands-on floral workshop that celebrates native Australian blooms and the creativity of winter gatherings. The event, titled Blooms & Bubbles, is set to take place at the winery’s Dover Gardens cellar door, just 12 kilometres from the city centre.

Hosted in collaboration with local florist Blooms by Bec, the workshop will guide participants through the process of creating their own floral arrangements using seasonal native flowers and greenery. Attendees will be instructed by experienced florists who are known for their clean and elegant floral design approach.

The workshop is open to all skill levels, from absolute beginners to seasoned floral hobbyists. At the end of the session, each participant will take home a completed bouquet that can be used as a home décor piece or a thoughtful gift.

Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine on arrival. Additional drinks from Patritti’s award-winning selection will be available for purchase throughout the morning. The event will be held inside Cellar II, a boutique indoor venue within the winery, providing a cozy setting for winter creativity.

Patritti Winery, established in 1926, is Adelaide’s last remaining family-owned urban winery. Beyond its wine production, it has become known for hosting community-oriented events that highlight local talent and regional South Australian produce.

As part of the workshop experience, attendees are encouraged to explore Patritti’s historic vat room, which showcases nearly a century of winemaking tradition. On weekends, Cellar II often features live music and food trucks, with a pet-friendly outdoor area available for those who wish to extend their visit.
