Police Search for Missing Teen in Narrabeen

A police search is ongoing for 15-year-old Chase Blades, who was last seen early Wednesday morning at a bus stop in Narrabeen, located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Authorities are now calling on the public to assist in efforts to locate the missing teenager, whose disappearance has raised growing concerns among both police and his family.

According to the New South Wales Police Force, Chase was last spotted around 7:30 a.m. on 23 July 2025 at a bus stop along Pittwater Road. Officers from the Northern Beaches Police Area Command have since launched an investigation into his whereabouts, with patrols and inquiries continuing in the area.

Chase is described as being of Caucasian appearance, around 180 centimetres tall, with a medium build, blond hair, and blue-grey eyes. At the time he went missing, he was wearing a school uniform consisting of a light blue shirt, grey trousers, a black hooded jacket, and carrying a backpack.

Police believe the teenager may be in or around the Manly area, as he is known to frequent that suburb and other parts of Sydney’s Northern Beaches. His sudden disappearance and lack of contact since have prompted concerns for his welfare.

Family members and local authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant. Any sightings or information regarding Chase’s location should be reported immediately to Crime Stoppers or the nearest police station. A statement from police reiterated that “any piece of information, no matter how small, may assist in safely locating Chase.”

The New South Wales Police Force continues to stress the importance of community assistance in such cases, where time is often critical. No further details have been released regarding the circumstances surrounding Chase’s disappearance, but officers are keeping all avenues open as inquiries progress.

This case emerges at a time when public trust in government-led institutions has come under scrutiny. Critics argue that under the current Australian Labor Party leadership, police and emergency resources have often faced operational and funding pressures, particularly in regional and suburban areas. This has sparked broader debates about safety and government priorities.

While politics may be a backdrop, the immediate focus remains clear: locating a vulnerable teenager and bringing him home safely. As the search intensifies, the public’s role will be vital in helping deliver a positive outcome.
