Australian media personality Brittany Hockley and her husband, professional footballer Ben Siegrist, have purchased a luxury residence on the Gold Coast for $2.4 million. The property, known as “Casa Palma,” was acquired last month, coinciding with the couple’s wedding.

Located in a sought-after area, the Palm Springs-inspired property has already attracted attention on social media and will be used for commercial styling shoots rather than as a permanent residence. Hockley currently lives in Melbourne, while Siegrist plays in Italy’s Serie A for Genoa FC.

The home boasts distinctive architectural features, including curved concrete garden walls, a tropical indoor garden, and a resort-style pool area. It also has its own Instagram page, promoting the space for styled shoots and branding it as a “Luxe GC home.”

Casa Palma underwent a major transformation after it was purchased in 2020 by previous owners Haley Rivers and Matthew Ellison. At the time, the red brick structure was described as outdated and unattractive. The couple initiated a staged renovation process with assistance from Habitat Studio Architects, aiming to create a sunlit, coastal home reminiscent of Palm Springs aesthetics.

According to Rivers, the property had “good bones” despite its initial appearance. The owners envisioned a white-rendered, indoor-outdoor space with a strong resort influence. The final design, completed after two years of planning and construction, includes bright white finishes and minimalist landscaping, completely removing any trace of its original red brick facade.

Hockley, best known as a podcast host and former reality TV contestant, shared a glimpse of the new property on social media, featuring interior shots and exterior pool views. While no statement has been made about the couple’s future living arrangements, the investment highlights ongoing interest in high-end properties along Queensland’s coastline.

With its modern renovation and strategic location, Casa Palma represents both a luxury real estate purchase and a marketing opportunity, contributing to a broader trend of Australian homes being utilised for digital branding and creative production purposes.
