Brisbane Businesswoman Lists Dream Home for Sale

Australian entrepreneur Fleur Madden and her husband Jimmy Gwisai have listed their luxury Brisbane residence for sale, just two years after completing its construction.

The six-bedroom, four-bathroom property, located in the sought-after suburb of Coorparoo, has been described by the couple as their “dream forever home.” However, due to growing business commitments and a new development project in the United States, they have decided to sell the home, which is known as The Palms.

Madden, CEO of The Ginsburg Business Advisory, said the decision was difficult but necessary.

“We built this home nearly two years ago as our dream forever home,” she said. “Every detail was thoughtfully designed to reflect our style and the way we live. Letting it go isn’t easy, as it holds so much meaning for us.”

Property records show the couple purchased the block in 2021 before commencing construction. The home draws inspiration from coastal architecture in Palm Beach, Florida, a location Madden visited and admired.

“I wanted to stay true to that elegant coastal style,” she explained. “Soft curves, arches, and statement finishes create a sense of luxury from the moment you enter.”

The home features a range of high-end inclusions. These include a grand curved staircase, three-metre-high ceilings, light oak timber flooring, and checkerboard terrazzo tiles in blush and white. The kitchen, which connects to the open-plan living zone, features a marble fireplace and a butler’s pantry.

“Inside, we’ve used beautiful marbles, feature lighting, and chandeliers to create a luxurious atmosphere,” Madden said.

The residence also offers a pool, multiple living areas, and a distinctive street presence. The couple’s two sons, Josiah and Teddy, have lived in the home since its completion.

While the property represents an important chapter for the family, Madden and Gwisai are now focused on expanding their business operations and developing a new residence overseas.

The listing has drawn attention in the local real estate market due to its unique design and premium finishes. The final sale price is yet to be revealed.
